DiscoverLaw.org Months

2010 DiscoverLaw.org Months:
Diversity Outreach for High School and Early College Students

Starting on January 15, 2010, the Law School Admission Council (LSAC) will be joined by law schools across the country to show diverse students why the world DOES need another lawyer.

If you are a law school and would like to host a DiscoverLaw.org Months event, read the 2010 DiscoverLaw.org Months brochure for background information, complete guidelines, funding criteria, and new items for 2010.  Next, complete the Letter of Intent form below.

For other helpful materials, such as the DiscoverLaw.org Campaign One-pager or the Why Register? sheet, visit the Downloadable Materials page.

We strongly encourage your law school to do the following:

  • Present the DiscoverLaw.org PowerPoint
  • Reserve time in the schedule/program for participants to register on the Web site.
  • If registration is not possible during the event, participants must fill out a DiscoverLaw.org Contact Card. You can print copies of the DiscoverLaw.org Contact Card for participants to fill out so they can become DiscoverLaw.org registrants right at your event! Please ask students attending your program to fill out the DiscoverLaw Contact Cards neatly and legibly and leave them with you. The most important parts for the students to include are the name of your law school's event, the event date, and their e-mail address. Once the cards have been completed, collect them and please send them back to LSAC's Office of Diversity Initiatives. We will contact each of the students by thanking them for attending your event and encouraging them to register at the DiscoverLaw.org site.

If you have any questions, please email DiscoverLaw@LSAC.org.
