CLEO
- Since 1968, CLEO has helped more than 7,000 low-income and minority students across the country become successful members of the legal profession. The CLEO College Scholars Program offers numerous prelaw preparatory workshops designed to help college students become more familiar with the law school admission process; thereby increasing their chances of acceptance at the law schools of their choice. CLEO seeks to continue this standard of excellence through a collaborative effort with colleges and universities throughout the United States.
Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities
- Founded in 1986, the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) represents over 400 institutions of higher education across the United States, Puerto Rico, Latin America, Spain, and Portugal committed to Hispanic education. It is the only national association representing existing and emerging Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSIs).
Hispanic Scholarship Fund
- The Hispanic Scholarship Fund's (HSF) mission is to strengthen America by advancing the college education of Hispanic Americans. Celebrating its 35th year, the organization delivers a range of programs to Hispanic families and students through community outreach and education, affordability via scholarships, college retention, and career opportunities.
Institute for Inclusion in the Legal Profession
- The Institute for Inclusion in the Legal Profession ("Institute") is a not-for-profit organization that, through educational programs, research, and publications, will address the lack of diversity and inclusion that continues to challenge the legal profession and undermine its credibility within the justice system.
Student Legal Education and Opportunity Program
- The Student Legal Education Opportunity Program (SLEOP), run by the New York City Bar Association, aims to provide professional development and educational programs for inner-city students who are interested in pursuing legal careers. Created in 2006, the program has provided opportunities for high school and college students to develop necessary professional skills and gain exposure to the profession.
