University of Missouri School of Law (Columbia, MO)

Discover Mizzou Law Summit

Location: University of Missouri School of Law

The Discover Mizzou Law Summit invites upper-level high school and community college students to visit the University of Missouri School of Law for a one-of-a-kind opportunity to learn about law school, legal careers, and the legal issues that impact their daily lives. Students will hear from the admission office, attend a first-year law class, interact with faculty, listen to a panel of current law students, and tour the law school. This is an excellent opportunity for students considering careers in law or law enforcement to learn more about the process and get assistance from current law students.

Creighton University School of Law (Omaha, NE)

Bryan High School Pipeline Program #2 (private)

Date: Tuesday, February 24, 2015
Time: 1:15 pm–2:45 pm
Location: Bryan High School

Dean David Weber will teach an Immigration Law class to a group of 25 high school students. Following his class, Creighton Law graduates and attorneys from Kutak Rock law firm will present the ins and outs of law school. The session will end with a question-and-answer period.

Saint Louis University School of Law (St. Louis, MO)

DiscoverLaw Day @ SLU LAW (private)

Area college students are invited to join SLU students, staff, and faculty, as well as practicing attorneys, for interactive workshops on law school, the law admission process, and life as a law student.

University of Nebraska College of Law (Lincoln, NE)

High School Diversity Law Day (private)

Location: University of Nebraska College of Law

High school students from the Lincoln community will have the opportunity to spend the day at the College of Law. They will experience a mock class, learn how to successfully prepare for college and law school, and talk with law students and legal professionals about the exciting opportunities waiting for law graduates.
