Hofstra Law, in collaboration with the New York State Bar Association’s Committee on Diversity and Inclusion, is hosting the Youth Law Day Program. Youth Law Day will bring together local high school students from at-risk districts in Nassau County to learn about the law and explore careers in the law. The purpose of this event is to introduce high school students to careers in the law, provide them with a general sense of what lawyers do, and inform them of the skills needed to be a successful law student. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in small-group workshops with law professors, law students, and legal practitioners, and will also take a tour of the Hofstra University campus.
