Road to Law School: Panel Discussion with Diverse UI Alumni

Location: University of Idaho College of Law

The University of Idaho College of Law will be hosting a panel discussion for multicultural students considering pursuing a legal education. Luis Cortez, Esq. is a Seattle-based attorney who primarily practices immigration law. Mia Vowels, Esq. currently serves as the deputy prosecuting attorney in Moscow, Idaho.

The panel discussion will be moderated by Carole Wells, JD, Director of Admissions; and Aman McCleod, professor and University of Idaho College of Law prelaw advisor.

Prospective students will have an opportunity to ask each panelist questions, as well as gain a different perspective about being a law student and practicing attorney.

Lunch will be served.

Hispanic Leaders in Law

Prelaw Undergraduate Scholars (PLUS) Programs

First- and second-year college students: Get the skills you need to succeed in law school by attending a four-week summer prelaw program. There’s no cost to attend, and participants receive a small stipend.
