Law Student for a Day (private)

Location: FIU Law School

Law Student for a Day is an initiative, organized by the H.T. Smith Black Law Student Association at FIU, designed to expose students to the area of law. This is a great opportunity for students interested in law, since students will be exposed to the law school and take a few small classes on topics such as Constitutional Law, Contracts, Criminal Law, Immigration Law, and Intellectual Property. The classes will be taught by current law students, and someone from undergraduate admissions will speak to students about applying to college. This is open to all high school students in grades 9–12 who are interested in college and law.
